The partner portal
What partners see, how they sign in, applications and review, branding, and per-group signup links.
Your partners live in a portal of their own: yourprogram.affiliaterail.io, or affiliates.yourdomain.com once you add a portal domain. It wears your logo and colours, and everything in it is scoped to the signed-in partner.
Signing in
Partners sign in with an email code: no password to forget, no password to leak. The login page carries your branding and, when reached through a group's signup link, that group's commission headline, so the pitch is on the door. Signing in and signing up are the same door; a new email starts an application, a known one opens the dashboard.
You can also sign a partner in yourself from their page in your dashboard (Send sign-in link), or over the API for a seamless jump from your own product.
Applications and review
Three ways partners arrive, and you choose per partner:
- Add now: you already trust them. They are active straight away with a working link, and the invitation email tells them what they earn with a one-click sign-in.
- Add to review queue: they appear as pending, no email sent, and their link only works once you approve them. Approving is what emails them.
- Let them apply: send a group's signup link; they fill in the form, answer your questions, and land in the same queue.
The application form is yours to shape under Program settings, Custom fields: single answers, multiple choice or dropdowns, each optional or required, in your order. Answers sit on the application in the queue, so you can decide without emailing anyone first.
Your program terms are part of signup: partners tick acceptance, and the time and the version they accepted are recorded.
Declining sends your reason word for word, from an editable default. Suspending holds a partner's balance and stops their link tracking new referrals until you reinstate them; what they have earned is kept. Applications held by a safeguard wait in the queue with the reason shown to you; the applicant is never refused automatically and never told which rule held them.
What partners see
- Links: their earnings, clicks, leads and customers at a glance, every form of their link with copy buttons, and their recent referrals.
- Referrals: each referral's journey from visit to conversion, including how it was attributed (link, coupon, manual or API), so tracking is never a matter of trust.
- Reports: their performance over time, uncapped.
- Resources: whatever you publish for them, scoped by group and tag.
- Payouts: what has been paid, what is coming, and why anything is held, in the same words you see.
- Settings: their payout method (PayPal, bank account via Wise, bank transfer, wire, or a crypto wallet, whichever of these your program pays by), their tax form when you require one, email preferences, and postbacks if they want events on their own server.
Bank details are validated as the partner types them, so a typo becomes an error on their screen rather than a failed payout three days later.
Branding and the footer
Your logo, background, button and text colours come from Program settings, General, with a live preview on the getting started page. Each group can carry its own commission headline and landing URL. The portal shows a small "Powered by AffiliateRail" line by default; the Scale plan can remove it.
A new program's portal wears neutral dark-on-light colours until you brand it. It never wears our brand: the portal is your surface, and it should never look like anyone's product but yours.
