Finder
AffiliateRail Finder finds affiliates for your product, holds the offer you make them, and hands the ones who say yes to your program.
Finder is the front half of the funnel. It finds affiliates, you make them an offer, and the day one says yes they become a partner in your AffiliateRail program with the terms they agreed. You track and pay them there.
It's one account. Sign in to AffiliateRail and you're signed in to Finder, at finder.affiliaterail.com.
Started in Finder and don't have an AffiliateRail program yet? Open app.affiliaterail.com. One short form about your product, and the program is built under the same account. Your AffiliateRail trial starts that day, separate from your Finder trial.
What the trial gives you
- 14 days, no card. Nothing to cancel if you decide against it.
- Your top 50 matches, each with the reason it scored.
- 15 verified email reveals.
- One connected inbox.
The trial ends on the date the app shows you. After that your matches and deals stay where they are. New scans, email reveals and sending are off until you pick a plan.
How a match is scored
Every match gets a fit score out of 100. You never see the number on its own. It comes with its four parts and the content that earned them:
| Part | Out of | What it reads |
|---|---|---|
| Relevance | 40 | Pages or videos about your category, and whether they name your competitors |
| Audience fit | 30 | Their audience size against the size you asked for, and their country |
| Recent activity | 20 | How recently they published |
| Commercial fit | 10 | Whether they already promote a program, and how many they name |
Every number has a band beside it: low, medium or high. A score is never shown without at least one piece of content behind it.
Your offer
Nothing is sent until your offer exists. Write it once, in Settings, Offer:
- What they earn: a percentage of each sale, or a fixed amount per sale.
- How long it pays: for as long as the customer pays, for a number of months, or on the first payment only.
- Tiers, if you want them: after a set number of customers, the rate rises.
- A bonus and a gift, if you offer them.
The offer is stored as numbers, not as a note. A percentage is stored in basis points (2,000 is 20%). A fixed amount is stored in the smallest unit of its currency (1,500 is $15.00). That's what lets the terms an affiliate accepts become their commission rule in AffiliateRail without anyone retyping them.
Credits
Saving a match is free. Two things spend a credit:
- Revealing a verified email spends one email credit. You're charged only when a usable address comes back. No result, an invalid address or a failed lookup refunds it.
- Running a new search spends one search credit.
Allowances reset with each billing period and don't roll over. When you're out, the button says so before you press it, and names the plan with more.
